His experience of the 7 caves was none because the tide wasn't good and they never made it inside which was much of the reason we had booked this tour. My husband was in a single and after being dumped out in a similar place he was able to regroup and go ahead on the rest of the way while we walked back to the shop. She was obviously shaken from this experience and ultimately decided that she didn't want to try that again in those terrible conditions. We finally made it back to shore and he pushed out the couple that was late and then came to check on my daughter. The guy that had pushed us out came to help as quick as he could but my 16 year old and I were out and without paddles or a boat anywhere close by. We made it about a third of the way to the instructor or less before taking a bad wave and being thrown from the boat.
Kayaks brands mythoughts how to#
She told us how to hold the paddles (info said safety briefing and learn how to kayak and we felt very unprepared after this "briefing") and within about 2 mins she was off and we were being pushed into the terribly choppy water. We told the person (chelsea I believe) taking us out we had never kayaked previously and she told us that wasn't a problem at all.

After 45 mins of waiting in the cold at 315 the instructor finally got to beach with 2 others that were apparently late (but didn't have on wetsuits) so we assume they got there at or after the start time while we were waiting. So we were there by 210 and sent to the beach at 230 to wait for a 3p safety briefing start. We were told to be there by 230 and sometime we met the day prior said to arrive earlier if we were deciding on wetsuits. I wanted to share my thoughts on our experience last week.
